Anker Soundcore Space Q45 Wireless Headphones
Anker Soundcore Q45 comes with a case, so if you are someone who travels frequently or maybe you are just a little reckless with your stuff at times, it is nice to have an actual case to protect the headphones.
The Q45 doesn’t have the floating-axis design, but the earcups can swivel and collapse. In terms of build quality, these headphones have a few more premium touches. They have aluminum hinges, metal headbands, and thicker, plusher ear cushions. From a durability standpoint, if I had to guess which one would hold up better in the long term, it would be the Q45.
These headphones are very comfortable. The Bluetooth connectivity of these headphones is 5.3. These headphones support LDAC for high-resolution audio. They have multipoint connection and excellent battery life.
The Q45 has an advantage with up to 65 hours of playtime after a single charge. When it comes to lifestyle features, they have a 40-millimeter driver, and the overall sound is great. You will get the Soundcore app with over 20 presets that you can play around with to find the sound that suits you.

Comfortable Headphones
Q45 are lightweight headphones. Their clamping force is less, so the tightness of the headband does not feel uncomfortable on the head. That’s why they are very comfortable.
However, the earcups are padded with leather. The downside is that the headband is less padded than the previous model, so it can cause some pressure on the head after using them for a long time.
Build Quality
The build quality is great because the manufacturing material is overall plastic, which provides high durability. The headband is thinner, but the overall headphones are quite good.
Due to the thinner or less padded headband, these headphones may not be suitable for very long listening sessions for some users.
Portable Headphones
They take up a lot of space and can cause some inconvenience when carrying them. However, the earcups are designed in such a way that they can swivel and convert into a flat shape, so the space covered by these headphones can be reduced.
The included case also makes them easier to carry and protects the headphones while traveling.
Stability
You can use these headphones when you want to listen to something while resting without doing any strong movement. As they are bulky, they can fall off your head during strong physical activity.
That’s why they are not the best choice for listening while running, jogging, exercising, or doing other activities that involve a lot of movement.
Sound Quality
The sound quality of these headphones is also good. The sound delivered by these headphones has a strong thump and rumble. The vocals delivered may sound somewhat recessed or less detailed, but a companion app is also available that provides various sound presets that you can use according to the sound you want to listen to.
The different presets allow you to adjust the sound and find a profile that suits your preference.
Availability of Colors
It is available in three different colors. These colors are:
- Blue
- Black
- White
Recording Quality
There is only an integrated mic present, and no in-line mic is present, so the recording quality is poor.
The sound has no details, and when it is listened to, it appears as a dark and thin sound. However, the previous model has somewhat better recording quality.
The integrated microphone is suitable for basic calls and communication, but recording quality is not one of the strongest features of these headphones.
Noise Isolation
The noise isolation feature is better than the previous models. The Q45 has an ANC system that is adaptive according to the surrounding noise. It means that its ANC performance depends upon the surrounding noise.
The Q45 provides great isolation from the noise of engines, automobiles, and people. A manual ANC mode via the companion app is also available, which provides various degrees of isolation when turned on.
This makes the Q45 useful for travel, commuting, and listening to music in places where there is a lot of background noise.
Battery Life
Battery life is also fantastic. It provides up to 50 hours of continuous playtime after a single charge with ANC turned on. The battery life can vary because it depends on features such as ANC and other settings.
To conserve battery life, you can turn on the auto-off timer via the companion app or use the headphones passively through the cables.
The Q45 also provides up to 65 hours of playtime when ANC is turned off.
Bluetooth Connectivity
Anker Soundcore Space Q45 has Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, so you can connect these headphones with multiple devices such as PCs and smartphones simultaneously.
The multipoint connection is useful when you regularly switch between a computer and smartphone. You can keep the headphones connected to both devices without having to disconnect one device every time.
